Wine drinker? Need a unique gift? These handmade blown glass bottle-stoppers are made by one of La Vernia’s own - Rusty & Brittany Trowbridge. Rusty grew up in La Vernia, and Brittany is from Odessa.

Her obsession for glass was birthed in college when she took the last glassblowing class offered at Texas Tech University. She followed her newfound passion to Santa Fe to learn even more. Not long after, she was hired by the only glassblowing studio (Unity in Glass) in Lubbock, Texas and has been there for 5 years now.

Husband & best supporter Rusty loves challenges, and the dynamic creative duo feed off inspiration and making and perfecting techinques.

Fun Facts:
The main furnace she uses sits at 2080 degrees F and up to 2250 on charging days. The hottest day in the glass shop can have temperatures over 120 degrees F
