Katelyn Sposato is an organic generational-family cattle rancher in Texas [Sourdough Lane is her at-home sourdough bakery business], who grew up raising grass-fed cattle and harvesting their tallow [suet] for cooking uses and skincare. She never purchases or uses chemicals on her grass or anywhere near her animals. Her tallow can be trusted to be as pure as pure can be. 
 
Process:
She removes all of the suet (fat) from around the inner-organs of her own cattle, herself. Then she renders the raw suet down four separate times, straining out any solids and graininess, to make it as smooth as possible. She then uses the purified 'tallow' to create her skincare products.  
 
Background story of this formula: 
This tallow moisturizer was a first created out of desperate need to help her sister, who was recovering from chemotherapy that destroyed her skin. Taking their family-passed down knowledge of tallow, but researching the best skin-healing ingredients to enhance it even more, to create a power-packed, yet gentle healing moisturizer for her sister, all their family and friends watched as Katelyn's moisturizer healed her sister's skin. They all started using it and had their own personally-transformed and improved skin. 
 
Personal testimony:
I have an autoimmune illness that leaves my oil-producing glands non-productive, and my skin highly dry and filled with tiny wrinkles - and menopause doesn't help.  I began using this tallow to be supportive of Katelyn, and it has totally changed my facial skin and appearance. Ingredients and application:
Whipped tallow, castor oil, Frankincense, and lavender.  Apply and wear under makeup (as I do) - and it takes about 30 minutes to absorb. Or wear it at night. Once absorbed, it leaves skin feeling 'conditioned' and healthy, rather than greasy or oily or dry.  I should call it 'miracle cream'.
