Katelyn Sposato is an organic generational-family cattle rancher in Texas [Sourdough Lane is her at-home sourdough bakery business], who grew up raising grass-fed cattle and harvesting their tallow [suet] for cooking uses and skincare. She never purchases or uses chemicals on her grass or anywhere near her animals. Her tallow can be trusted to be as pure as pure can be. 
 
Process:
She removes all of the suet (fat) from around the inner-organs of her own cattle, herself. Then she renders the raw suet down four separate times, straining out any solids and graininess, to make it as smooth as possible. She then uses the purified 'tallow' to create her skincare products.  
 
Katelyn's tallow is one of shop's top 5 sellers. Customers drive up to 2 hours away to buy it from us in our mercantile, before we began this online ordering site. They swear by it, as well.  A red-head came in for another jar telling us that she wore it at the beach in South Texas and never burned.
